Feel heard and find a way forward
Reaching out for help can be difficult, especially when you’re unsure what counseling will be like. I welcome children, teens, adults, couples, and families from many faiths, cultures, and walks of life.
I want our work together to feel like a safe harbor: a place to be heard, find some relief from life’s stressors, and get help with what has kept you stuck. A harbor isn’t somewhere you have to stay forever. My hope is that you leave with greater confidence in your strengths and skills you can use on your own.
What it's like working together
The first few sessions are about getting to know each other. I will listen to what brought you in, learn what you hope will change, and give you a chance to get a feel for me, too.
Together, we’ll look for helpful first steps while working toward your longer-term goals. I build on the strengths you already have and uses practical tools and skill practice to help you approach challenges differently. I also consider everyday foundations such as rest, eating, and movement as part of setting yourself up for success.
I am a trained biblical counselor in the Christian faith tradition. I've worked with people from many backgrounds and welcome the opportunity to understand what matters to you.
Areas of focus
I work with clients navigating couples and relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and faith-related concerns. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling.
