Find your way back into your life
Sometimes feeling stuck doesn’t look like one obvious crisis. It can feel like getting caught in your thoughts, avoiding social plans, or struggling to participate in the ordinary parts of your day. Major changes can also leave you unsure how to move forward.
I work with people navigating these experiences who want to feel more present and capable in their lives. If you have felt unseen or misunderstood, therapy can give you a place where you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
What it's like working together
I want our work to feel collaborative and engaging. I won’t position myself as the expert on your life or simply tell you what to do. You’ll have an active role in therapy, and we’ll focus on the goals and changes that matter to you.
During our first few sessions, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. Sharing personal experiences with someone new can feel intimidating, so I want to build trust and help you feel comfortable before expecting you to discuss topics you may not be ready to share.
I’ll adapt my approach to fit your needs while helping you recognize and build on the strengths you already have. Our work won’t focus only on problems. We’ll also look at your growth, what is working, and the skills that can help you feel more confident moving forward.
Areas of focus
I work with people navigating major life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, repetitive thoughts, social withdrawal, and difficulty participating in everyday activities.
I offer individual counseling.
Background and training
I am a counseling intern completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Iowa. I began working in mental health in 2026.
My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian therapy, and person-centered counseling. I was drawn to this work because I believe having someone who truly listens can change how we move through difficult experiences. I value the relationship between a client and therapist, and I want to support people who have often felt unseen or misunderstood.
Outside of work, I enjoy tennis, pickleball, traveling, reading, and fitness.
